Healthy teeth and gums

Consume too rich in protein but low in sugar food. Avoid frequent meals with sweets, pastries and sticky foods.

Wash your teeth morning and night with the right brush and toothpaste. Use dental floss to clean the inter-dental space. This will remove plaque, which is a colony of bacteria that causes tooth decay. Acidity is a major factor for the formation of dental caries. Brush also your tongue.

Following your meal, if you are unable to brush your teeth, chew sugar-free gum. With chewing, large quantity of saliva is excreted, which dilutes the generated acids.

Check-in prophylactic examination at dentist twice a year. This is important for early, prompt diagnosis and timely treatment of any diseases of the teeth, gums and malocclusion.
